About Me:

I am a family mediator with over 10 years experience working with families, couples and youth and specializing in custody, parent/teen conflicts and elder care.  Guided by deep empathy and compassion, I approach each client with a clean slate, bearing witness to the painful aspects of their lives and current dilemma.  I assist individuals and families to resolve their differences and create a cooperative atmosphere that can lead to more productive conversations, clearer options and the co-creation of a successful plan to ensure consensus and lasting resolution.

In 2015, I co-founded the volunteer mediator program Southern California Family Mediation (SoCal), which started with seven volunteers mediating two times per week in the courts and within two years more than tripled in size.  While leading and scaling this program at the LA Dependency Courts, I designed the curriculum to prepare mediators to successfully engage with high-conflict individuals in the dependency court and juvenile justice systems.  I established a partnership with the University of Southern California Gould School of Law, providing Family Law Clinic law students with the opportunity to apply mediation techniques in real cases.   In 2019, SoCal and its volunteers were recognized by the LA Superior Court with an award for excellence.
